Certificate of Eligibility

The VA Home Loan requires verification of your military service and your eligibility for benefits, including the VA Home Mortgage.  VA will issue a Certificate of Eligibility to verify that eligibility.  This is different from your Qualification for a VA Home Loan, which requires credit, income, asset and property standards.

E Mortgage Capital will obtain your Certificate of Eligibility as part of the application process.  We can usually obtain this within a few minutes through our system that is linked to the VA processing center. For subsequent uses of your VA Home loan, this can take as much as 7 to 10 business days after we submit the request.

We will need a copy of your DD-214 (Member 4 copy) and signed request form 1880 to submit this request.
